Voice Mail, E-Mail, Internet Access and Computer Files Policy

Voice mail, electronic mail (e-mail) and other computer information systems have been or may become available to various positions throughout ABC in order to enhance productivity and provide more efficient services for our customers. The Company's voice mail and e-mail as well as its Internet/intranet access are Company property and are intended solely for business use. The use of these systems is a privilege, not a right, and this privilege may be revoked by the Company at any time for abusive or inappropriate conduct.  Additionally, all files and messages sent, received, composed, and/or stored on any computer system are the property of the Company.

All messages transmitted via these systems will be treated as business messages. Any employee using these systems should be aware that all messages will be viewed as a business message and not a personal, confidential message of the employee.
