Attendance Point Policy

Regular attendance and punctuality by staff are important elements in our efforts to maintain high levels of productivity and achieve our goals.

Attendance

Staff attendance records will be reviewed each week. Five points will be assessed for each "unauthorized" absence.

An "unauthorized" absence occurs when the employee's supervisor/department has not been properly notified that an employee will be late or absent.

An absence occurs when an employee misses one or more consecutive scheduled work days for a single reason.

Punctuality

Employees are expected to report for work on time. Tardiness for non-exempt staff will be reviewed and points assessed for each day of work the employee does not report as scheduled.
