Anitra Goodman Royster is an associate in Alston + Bird's Litigation & Trial Practice Group, where her practice focuses on complex commercial and financial services litigation and the defense of class actions. She has litigated disputes including consumer, insurance and business tort litigation matters in state and federal courts across the country.

Ms. Royster is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Virginia and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the National Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association.

Ms. Royster received a J.D., summa cum laude, from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2002. While in law school, she served as the note & comment editor of the North Carolina Central University Law Journal, and was a member of the Susie M. Sharp Inn of Court. In 1999, Ms. Royster received a B.A. in psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
