R. Brent Ballow has over 20 years of legal experience in the area of labor and employee relations matters. He has successfully negotiated numerous collective bargaining agreements, regularly gives advice on the administration of those agreements, and has been responsible for over 60 representation or decertification elections. Mr. Ballow has been a leader in social media risk awareness and due to demand has recently produced an employee training video, Social Media: Risks and Responsibilities. He is a frequent speaker and trainer throughout the country on labor and employment issues, including the ADA, the FMLA, Privacy in the Workplace, Discrimination Laws, Labor Relations, and Wage and Hour Laws. He also has served as an adjunct professor at Utah State University. Mr. Ballow has authored several management publications, including Management's Guide to Union Elections; Salting in the Construction Trades; Privacy: Privacy and Defamation in the Workplace; Privacy: Polygraph Testing in the Workplace; Privacy: Electronic Monitoring in the Workplace.
