Live Webinars

What is a webinar?

A Webinar is a live, interactive presentation that is viewed on the internet. During a webinar, each participant sits at his or her own computer and is connected to other participants and the presenter via the internet using a web-based platform, GoToWebinar.

 

How do I access the webinar?

After you purchase the webinar, you will receive an email from Avant Resources containing your webinar instructions.  It will provide you with a link to register with GoToWebinar to generate your unique webinar link and the audio information. We recommend you do this before the day of the webinar.

 

I did not receive my webinar instructions. What do I do?

If you do not receive you instruction email, please check your spam or junk folder as it may have been intercepted.  If you are still unable to find it, call our support line 615-752-2373.

 

What are the system requirements to watch a live webinar?

For PC-based attendees:

-       Windows® 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server

For Mac-based attendees:

-       Mac OS® X 10.5 or newer

For Mobile attendees:

-       iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ phone or Android tablet

This is my first webinar with Avant Resources. Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?

Absolutely! If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with an Avant Resources product, simply email our sales team at support@avantresources.com and we will issue a full refund.

 

We have multiple people in our organization that want to watch the same webinar. Is this allowed?

With the purchase of one webinar, you are given access to watch it on one computer. Many companies find it useful to hook up their computer to a large screen in a conference room and have their team gather to watch it. If your employees would like the convenience of watching the webinar on their own computer, you can purchase an additional connection for them for a $50 fee. Please contact our support team at support@avantresources.com or 615-574-6612 to set this up. 

Recorded Webinars

What is a recorded webinar?

Our recordings are downloadable QuickTime video files that you can watch on your computer at your convenience. There is no limit on the amount of times you can watch them, and they never expire once they are on your computer. A recording purchase also includes all available webinar materials. How do I access my recording?

After you purchase the recording, you will receive an email from Avant Resources containing your instructions. This email will contain a link that will take you to the recording for download.

 

When will my recording be available to download?

Recording of new webinars are available for download one hour after the live event ends. A reminder email will be sent out when it is available for download. Recording of previous webinars are always available for download after purchase.

 

Can I share my recording with my co-worker?

Yes, you can share your recording purchase with up to five people internally. If you would like to share this recording with a more than five employees, please email support@avantresources.com for our licensing structure.

 

Can I burn it onto a CD or transfer it onto my flash drive?

Yes, Avant Resources will not be sending you a hard copy of your recording. It is your responsibility to transfer it to a different format if you wish to do so.

How do I place an order for a webinar?

Simply select the webinar at the price point you wish to purchase by clicking the “Add to Cart” button. This will direct you to a check out page. You can enter your credit card information, or you can select “purchase order/email invoice”. To place an order over the phone, call our sales team at 615-752-2372.

 

I need a W9 from your organization to place an order. How do I get one?

Please register the person who wishes to attend or receive the webinar information.  The email address you register with is the email address that will receive the order receipt and webinar instructions.

Continuing Education Credit

 

Do your live webinars qualify for continuing education credit?

Yes, all of our live webinars are pre-approved by the Human Resources Certification Institute for HRCI credit and by the National Association of State Board of Accountancy for CPE credit. Our legal topics automatically qualify for CLE credit in Tennessee, New York, New Jersey and California. If you do not practice in these states, our webinar team will send you the proper documentation to submit for credit in your respective state.

 

Do your recorded webinars qualify for continuing education credit?

Our recorded events do not qualify for continuing education credit. We must verify your attendance by having you log into a live event in order to issue credit.

 

How do I obtain verification of attendance for reporting purposes?

Certificates of Completion are provided to each registered attendee. Please email support@avantresources.com to request one.

 

Can additional listeners of the webinar receive continuing education credit?

Only registered and paid attendees will receive continuing education credit.
