A Webinar is a live presentation that is viewed on the internet. During a webinar, each participant sits at his or her own computer and is connected to other participants and the speaker via the internet using a web-based application, GoToWebinar. Attendees access the meeting by clicking on a link distributed by e-mail (meeting invitation) to enter the conference.

Avant's webinar sessions are hosted by GoToWebinar. GoToWebinar provides a connection test wizard here:
https://www3.gotomeeting.com/wizard?Portal=www.gotomeeting.com

There is webinar registration link provided in the confirmation email where the customer can enter their contact information prior to the event and download the Gotowebinar software if is not already installed.

Additional connection information is available here:

Avant offers interactive webinars which means that the presentations typically include polling and question & answer sessions to allow full participation between the audience and the presenter. The presenter speaks over a standard telephone line, while pointing out information being presented onscreen.  The audience can ask questions throughout the presentation using GoToWebinar’s chat function.

If you are unable to attend a live webinar, you can order a copy of the audio recording and presentation materials so that you can view the presentation at your convenience.  If you do not have an internet connection to access the live webinar, you can download and print the presentation materials in advance from the event website, dial into the toll free conference line, and follow along with the printed materials.
